Ghost in the Shell, an Award winning Sci-Fi Masterpiece. This movie is the epitome of why I watch Anime. Intelligent Deep plot, Incredible Fight Scene's. And a little Fan-service thrown in.

Major Katsuragi, is a Cyborg, working for Division 9 of the Japanese Govt. in the near future. utilizing the latest in Stealth technology, she is one of the top officer's. Whether it be assassinating Diplomat's trying to smuggle classified Computer Expert's out of the country, or Delivering an invisible Beat down on Ghost Hacked Street Punk's, She always kick's Ass.

The plot follows the event's surrounding the Puppet Master an Artificial Intelligence. The Puppet Master, also known as Project 2501, has decided he no longer wants to be used, by the Govt. to hack, steal, and disable there enemies. through his journey's on the net, he has come across a kindred Spirit of sort's, in The Major. 2501 begins hacking into Govt. official's in order to get the attention of Division 9.

Eventually 2501 creates an artificial body for himself, and allows himself to be run down on the road. Division 9 takes the shell, and discover a ghost present, without a brain. This prompt's the Major to become interested, as she has been doubting her own mind (She fear's she may be just a copy of someone's mind.) After Division 6, steal's the body, in order to get 2501 back, Katsuragi takes this chance to finger them as the ones behind the Puppet Master's Ghost Hacking (The most serious crime there is. Essentially mind Control.) 

Final thought's: One of the best movie's ever. Fan's of the Matrix, Blade Runner, or just good Sci-Fi will enjoy this movie thoroughly. The animation is Brilliantly done, and very Detailed, and the Plot is pulled off with out a hitch (Very rare in Sci-Fi pieces, which are usually full of Plot Holes.)
